Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure that knowledge and skills build progressively from Nursery through to Year 6. Subject progression maps provide a clear overview of the key knowledge, vocabulary and skills that pupils will learn in each subject and year group.

We place a strong emphasis on developing secure foundations in learning, particularly in the Early Years and Key Stage 1, so that pupils have the knowledge, understanding and confidence needed to succeed as they move through the curriculum. These strong foundations enable children to build upon prior learning, make meaningful connections and develop increasing independence over time.

Our progression maps demonstrate how learning is sequenced to help children know more, remember more and achieve more. Through carefully planned opportunities to revisit and apply previous learning, pupils deepen their understanding and secure the knowledge and skills needed for future success.
